I've meant to watch this for years and only finally got around to it. For some reason I always confuse this with The Babysitter (which I've also not seen). Must be the Aussies and the blonde babysitter. I had no idea what to expect in this movie going in, so that was nice!

This movie was NAUGHTY, however. It made me so uncomfortable throughout. This is going to be a tough one not to spoil so while I'm not going to explicitly say things that happen, this WILL reveal some of the overall plot points. Read at your own risk of spoilage.

At first, this movie is like "haha that kid likes his babysitter" and you think maybe it's just a home invasion sort of movie. Maybe it's her ex-boyfriend? Maybe it's her current boyfriend trying to scare her? Is it maybe an actual home invasion!? No, it's the creepy kid that wants to plough the babysitter.. plus his buddy!

I think what's most disturbing about this is that it could actually happen. Probably not exactly as this goes, but you do see these weird teens that do some crazy stuff thinking they'll never get caught before they inevitably get caught. The truth or dare section of this one made my stomach turn when he did his dare. So gross, yet so young teen-y.

I'll give you some definitely NOT spoily stuff here. The acting in this is really good from everyone. Their accents are perfect (they're all Aussies but they speak as Americans) and you wouldn't know they're foreign without looking the movie up (WHICH I DID). The dynamic between the two buddies was pretty good. It was also fun seeing BILLY from Stranger Things show up. Plus a cameo from Patrick Warburton and Virginia Madsen!

Pacing is pretty solid in this, although there were a couple scenes that felt a bit long. There's a part with some tape and glass that really dragged out over a few sections. Aside from some far-fetched bits, this movie was an easy watch throughout.

Recommended?

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I probably will never watch this again, but I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching it.
