When my kids were little, they LOVED this movie. They used to go through these cycles of watching the same movie over and over and over and over and over and... you get it. There were so many that I couldn't stand to even hear, so I'd avoid them at all costs, but this one was always enjoyable. It's been a long time since I last saw it, so IS IT STILL GOOD?
This movie has a really good voice cast. Reese Witherspoon plays Susan, a huge woman (who they try to rename Ginormica). Paul Rudd plays her love interest, Derek, a dorky weatherman who wants to get network. House plays Dr Cockroach, a mad scientist who turned himself into a cockroach-man (sort of like The Fly). Seth Rogen plays B.O.B, a tomato mixed with ranch flavoring that turns sentient. Will Arnett plays The Missing Link, a 20k year old frozen fishman. Kiefer Sutherland plays General W.R. Monger, the military guy holding these monsters. Rainn Wilson plays Gallaxhar, an alien after the quantonium turning Susan into the mega woman. Amy Poehler plays the ship computer. Stephen Colbert plays the president! It also has some voice cameos by Renee Zellweger, Ed Helms, John Krasinski, and Jeffrey Tambor. Crazy.
As this is an animated movie, the runtime isn't too long. It's about 94 minutes, though some of that is credits rolling (and an after-credits sequence). The movie pops along at a good pace, going from one big event to the next pretty quickly. It also builds up some emotion throughout, which plays out in funny ways. You're not going to be bored in this movie. My wife who is notorious for staring at her phone and playing games during shows/movies even put her phone down to rewatch it.
This movie is funny, even for adults. There is some general adult humor that goes over the head of young kids, but there were even some jokes I totally forgot about that made me chuckle pretty heartily. B.O.B. is such a good character and I think Rogen fits it perfectly. The overall themes in the movie are nothing really new, it's still a kids' movie, but it really executes everything so well.

I have recommended this movie to adults who don't even have kids. It's great and I enjoy it every time I see it, even knowing what happens.
