I knew very little about this movie going. It's an Elizabeth Banks movie. It's a comedy with some horror elements. It's Ray Liotta's last movie. The bear gets high. That's about it.
Interestingly, that is the whole plot. You already know what is going to happen from that tiny description. Ray Liotta plays a criminal - are you shocked? I sure am! Keri Russell is in this movie and she's great AS USUAL. The kids were kind of meh. The park ranger had some funny situations. The drug dealers were not interesting.
From a plot perspective, there really isn't much meat on the bone. Let's skip that and go to dialogue because that can make or break a movie, especially a comedy. This one has some good bits and funny characters (the hiker), but some really clunky dialogue (the kids, park ranger, drug dealers). It doesn't ruin the movie, but it doesn't make it something you'll want to remember many lines from. Maybe it's a slow burn, though. I didn't like Anchor Man when I first saw it. Or Wet Hot American Summer. This does feel similar to those movies in a lot of ways.
There are some subplots in this movie that could've been cut entirely. The one involving Shheeeeeeeeiiiiiit guy was one of those. They didn't really make sense of that one.

It's tough to recommend. Maybe watch the clips. You'll get the gist of the whole movie anyway.
